Have you tried Halfords?

Nearly all LBSs will let you have bike boxes for free, as they have to pay to have them taken away otherwise.

my local halfords job worth wont hand any over because he claims co policy as people are selling bikes as Halfords bikes because they are in Halford boxes ?

before he arrived use to be my source of boxes as well
