ok maybe I've been in the very rare sun too long but I've decide to buy a tandem, needs to be strong, tidy , not mega-bucks and I don't mind modern. I have to be able to rent it out on occasion (i rent out weird and wonderful bikes) and this the only reason I have permission to have yet another bike.
Distance is a bit of an issue as i live right on the edge of west wales so any chance of posting is grabbed,
