You mean the Simplex Retro levers which are super smooth to use and the best ever made.

The Mavic[simplex]retro levers did not have the name 'simplex' on them are classed as Mavic levers

You can also find SPIDEL retro levers but were aimed at the French market, these are the Simplex levers too.

I know of a bike shop nearby who has a second-hand set of Simplex jobs, though i won't see him til' wedsday. I don't think he'll want loads.
