Hi

First post and I am on the scrounge! :D

I am looking for a cheap pair of non-aero brake levers for a restoration I am doing. It is ony a 'get it back on the road' restoration of a late 80's/early 90's Romani, so any non-areo levers will do. I can get a new pair for £15 so has anyone got anything I can have for a bit of beer money? It's all in a good cause as the bike was going to be scrapped and hopefully it will be the first of many classic bikes I restore.

Great website BTW. I was referred here from BikeRadar.

Cheers

Vimes

Thanks for the offer. Would certainly be interested if you think I could get hoods?

Hmm, you can get replacement hoods, but they might come in not much cheaper than the £15 you can get a full set of levers for (I presume they have hoods). They don't come up 2nd hand v often, as they are the bit that perishes...

OK. I'll hold fire for the moment and see if anything else pops up, but I might get back to you. Many thanks for the offer.

Cheers mate. I forgot to mention in the original post that ideally I need black hoods, but beggers can't be choosers! :D

Mine are brown / natural. I'll check they're still in the shed when I get home in an hour.
Cheers
