I'm looking for something from the mid to late 80s onwards, all aluminium, no carbon fibre please! The bike they will be going on will have 10 speed chainrings, cassette, and chain, but I will be using friction mode for shifting. So both mech and levers must have enough movement for the full range of a 10 speed cassette (in friction mode I don't think this will be a problem, please let me know if it will be!).
For the mech anything from C-record to current day athena, centaur or veloce is fine, but it must be all alloy, silver, and in decent condition.
For the levers, just about anything will do, but must be in decent condition.
