Hi am looking to get a cheap crank with rings for a Raleigh Record Sprint, I had one of these as a teenager, now i have an almost complete bike that just needs a few bits....
As a newbie to road bike building I have little idea what would be suitable, so any suggestions would be also greatly appreciated.

Thanks.....

Simon

I could send you a nice, period correct and lightweight Nervar 42/52 for about £22.50 :D

If I'm not mistaken "didn't lots of these kinds of Raleighs ship with SR (Sakae) crank stuff ?" If so a freshly mirror polished SR taken from a deceased Raleigh I had is in my out box. £16 to your door if you'd like it :-) I've got the original Raleigh handlebars & stem, and Seatpost too, all looking for new homes. Later my friend yours Laz.

PS: It's a 52-42 english thread. Got pedals for it too somehere.
