Says it all -- I snapped the little projection off the bottom end of mine. Tried the spring off a VXGT but it's too small. Would hate to write off the Cyclone, so here's hoping...

Can you post dimensions / photo? I have a rear mech spring, but I don't know what it is from... You never know.

I once snapped a spring and heated the spring in a vice until red hot with blow lamp, then bent the end of the spring with pliers.

Worked for me
