Hi Malc,

When you say "tourer" do you mean the kind of light tourer the Galaxy was in those days or a full-on tourer with braze-ons for cantis, racks &c?

If the former, might I be able to interest you in a 1983 Raleigh Record Ace in very good condition and almost entirely original (down to the brake blocks). It is a 23 1/2" frame (might be worth giving an idea of what size range you're looking for).

Looks and spec just like this:

Can get some pics up if you're interested. Can swap out the 42/52 chainset for a similar one with a more versatile BCD and Suntour mechs that would be able to cope with the range better than Gran Sport if you want to be able to get up hills with luggage...

Looking for £200 delivered. Sorry, the Orange is not for me.

Nick

Very nice bike
Unfortunately i have to offset the orange mtb to get one
I cannot justify buying another and obviously shelling out more cash.
The Raleigh in the link looks awesome.
Thanks
Malc
