I have two American Classic seatposts:
27.2 Alloy post
27.2 Titanium post
The titanium post looks like someone has tried to "force" a larger diameter bolt through it (maybe they lost the original?). I've always been thinking I would take it to my machine shop guy to be retapped for the proper bolt.
Let me know if you're interested in either, or both.
