I'm looking for a 25.4 Campagnolo Seatpost for a Vitus 992 build. Anything considered.

Thanks

Hi there

I was looking for a 25.mm seat post for ages, but couldn't find one.

In the end I bought a 25mm Campagnolo one, which are relatively easy to find, and also bought 1 0.4mm shim from CRC. It has worked a treat. 8)

Regards

Yeah, kind of what I was thinking.

Just out of interest, is your 25 a Vitus?

Unfortunately not a Vitus! It's a mid 80's Raleigh. Why??

No, just wondered how many bikes used this silly narrow guage s/post. I need mine for a Vitus, it's actually turned out cheaper for me to buy another 2nd hand Vitus for it's bits.

There are some 25mm posts on eBay but they're all silly money, cheaper to mill one up myself

Yes, thay are commanding good money on flea bay at the moment. I was fortunate enough to pick mine up onhere, at a not cheap £48.00 - but still cheaper than on ebay.

I got mine from Lazarus, who is a great guy. Maybe he has another?? Worth a try. Mine is lovely.

Good luck :)
