For my Carlton build I've bought two 1950s SA-AW 3-speed trigger shifters on ebay, but both of them are broken and need new parts fabricating, which will take a while.
In the meantime, has anyone got a working 3-speed trigger shifter - I'm not interested in age or condition so long as it works!
If that fails, anyone got a cheap band-on right-hand downtube friction shifter? It must be non-indexed... not an ideal solution but it can work
