Wanted:

A 700cc Shimano wheelset with quality rims (mavic, campag etc.) and 7 spd cassette for an early 90s Chas Roberts SLX build.

Currently I have a mix of Ultegra and Dura Ace, but my front wheel has imploded on the way home and is well beyond repair...
The rear is ok but well worn so it is time for some new hoops.

Must be in very good nick, straight and true please and if they have a newish cassette then that would make my day!

Can collect in London.

Cheers,
Ben

Sprints or clinchers? does the range of the rear freewheel matter? 125 rear width? ta!

hi there,

sorry for the lack of detail!
Clinchers would be fine, the range around 13-24 or there abouts...
I think 125 should be ok, but I can get the frame adjusted if need be.

Many thanks,
Ben

I've a set of mavic somethings on Shimano 1055 7spd hubs with a 12/28 cassett. They are in the back of the shed so might take a while to get to.They were on a Raleigh Tourer so will be 36 hole and stainless spokes.I think they still have tyres on as well. Will go digging later.jm.
