700c rear wheel with freewheel

Mr Tim

I am looking for a new rear wheel to swap with my uniglide cassette wheel. 6 or 7 speed freehub or cassette considered!

Out of interest, what's wrong with the uniglide hub?

Nothing I just want a bigger cassette and can't seem to find any uniglide ones. Unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

I can send you a Uniglide freewheel with a large Shimano cassette still attached. I think it might be a 30t. I'll have a look in a mo.

Oh that would be great!

6spd, 32t largest

Uniglide freewheel that attaches to the wheel via a 10mm hollow bolt

I'll give it a clean up if interested - it came from a Deore hubset that I converted to 7 speed hypergide

How did you convert it if you don't mind me asking?

I have just checked my derrallieur and 28t is the biggest size :(

It gives you many more cassette options plus, if you are handy with a spoke tool to re-dish the rim, you can fit an 8 speed freehub body which then gives you access to 8/9/10spd cassettes
