Wanted: Nuovo Record Chainset

151BCD is the original Campag chainring size from when they first started making chainsets. Smallest available is 44 (BUT - they did make a few 43's but rocking horse excrement is more readily available). They altered the BCD to 144 so that a smaller 42 tooth ring (with a possible 41 potentially available as above) could be used. I also have a pair of 177.5 cranks but they are Pista. However, I have used them with double rings and I have some 'drillium' ones to suit. They are fitted with Campag Pista pedals, toeclips and straps.

Re:

I have this Chainset 52/42 non campagnolo rings

I realise it is 170mm

I remember buying the left hand crank separately from Whiskers in the Kilburn shop in late 80's.

any thoughts on which level the cranks are?

I assume GS on R/H side is for Gran Sport.

I can't see me needing them for anything.

Thank you that is very helpful.

They are not a pair.

The L/H I got from Whiskers is the bit I cant remember which group it was.

Any thoughts of how to identify the L/H (not marked GS)?

Interesting - how did you manage to fit an inner ring to the pista crank?

Easy, just bolt it on with a double ring set of fixings. Seemed to work OK.
