As above, wanted as a swap-out option for days with lots of hills in them - already got a 53/39 UT which i like using for daily commutes etc, so this seems like the simplest way.

Black or silver is fine, rings must be good, i have the bearing tools so not too worried about bearings

Ive got a set of Veloce arms only.Rings might be pricey as the 50 is a dished one.

I've looked into arms-only and asyou suggest it quickly becomes prohibitive compared to just buying one of the few nos ones that are still around.

Thanks tho

Think I have crank arms - Centaur 10spd in silver - will send a pic in the morning as they're in the shed. Don't need them so only need to cover what they cost me - £10 plus post.
cheers
Richard

Thanks but I'm after one with usage rings - by the time I've bought a set of rings I might as well get a NOS one for ~£90
