Campag Chorus 1st generation groupset

Hi all

Looking to complete a winter project with Campagnolo Chorus - ideally first generation - groupset.

Please get in touch if you can help.

Thanks - Nick.

Re:

you mean the 7 speed goup with downtube shifters? Or the 8 speed one with ergopowers? You need wheels as well?

I have both but as these groupsets are becoming rare, they're not actually cheap...

Re: Campag Chorus 1st Gen GS

Thanks for the reply

Wheels I am completely sorted, thanks.

I know this sort of kit isn't 'cheap' and I'm not too fussed whether I go for the 8 or 7 speed group...but what sort of price are you looking for each?

Shall we talk on the phone? Thanks again for getting in touch...

I live in Belgium so maybe better send me a PM with what you want to pay for it and I will see.

Re:

Sure - I guess the postage will also add to the expense.

I was expecting something in the £250 mark...? Plus postage. Let me know what you think...

I can sell you a 7 speed chorus for 325 euro (shipping to the UK included) consisting of

chainset
headset
bottom bracket (ITA)
shifter levers (friction)
brake levers (hoods in very good condition!)
derailleurs
brake callipers (with Campa brake blocks in good condition)
seatpost 27,2 mm
7 speed chain

I don't have Chorus pedals but I can include you (for free) a set of era correct Look automatic pedals.

I can always sell you my complete bike: a 1987 Mino Denti Master, size 56. ;-)

Re:

Thanks for this...

A couple of questions:

1) Can you send me some pictures?

2) can you include hubs?

I will take better pictures tomorrow.

I don't have hubs but I can send you a complete pair of wheels included (with Mavic GP4 tubular rims) and 7 speed screw on block for 375.

Re:

Nice bike! Too small for me...

Look forward to receiving pics...

Your bottom bracket - is that Italian thread, right?
