Hi, my callsign is Archangel and I'm an extrovert... :P
Heh, just found the area group for the Nordics and of course I needed to chime in.

I'm Kai and I live in Vantaa which is part of the Helsinki capital area in Finland.
I'm 34 and I'm married + have 2 beautiful daughters (aged 3 and 1).
I work as a business development manager in a bank.

Besides biking and bikes my other hobbies include amongst others movies, downhill skiing, golf (no time for that really), history...

I started mountain biking in 1992 and vintage bike collecting in 2006.
I'm on my 5th (riding) bike (Scott Ransom carbon) since '92 whereas I have owned approx. 20 vintage bikes over these 5 years or so... :P

Very well then...

My name is Jan and I was born in 1976. I live in Espoo, which is located in the southernmost part of Finland.

I got my first mountain bike (a Rossin) in 1989, and was bitten by the mtb:ing fly right away. There was a long period when I wasn't interested in bikes at all, but in 2007 I became smitten anew and started to look for the bikes that I used to ride, bitd.

Cheers

:D

A damn Brit on the edge of the earth (any further, it's Polar bears in the Kebabs). Interested in the best of retro-modern mixes for Nordic proper seasonal climates. I've been in Stockholm so long I feel like part of the furniture but love the great outdoors from the city. Weekend warrior, mainly light XC 100% off-road or mixed on-road long-distance hauls.

Any one who pops by Stockholm (as if it's on the way to somewhere) I offer a decent bike ride, some quality pub crawls, and a tour of the local bike shops. Just PM me.

Hi all. I'm jakob from Roskilde, Denmark.

I've been riding mtb's since early nineties and have a great amount of love for all types of cycles.

I did a cycletour thru both Sweden and Finland in 97, so I've seen a lot of the nordic by bike

Chris from manchester now married and living near Oslo. Did some road racing in the mid-late 80's in Spain with B.C.Benidorm. Worked in a few bike shops in the 1990's. Harry Hall being the best one probably. Now have two kids, two cats and a habit of finding old 'dream' bikes online and feeling sorry for them. I enjoy mountain bikes as much as road these days and like to experiment with components.

Hi, I am Jakob. Living a bit north of Copenhagen with good trail access couse too. If you want to ride around here give me a pm.
I am 40 and have a baby and a wife. On the biking side I ahve been into mtb since 93 i think.... I stated on xc and when racing for some years, then went into Dh and raced a bit on the big rigs around europe. Nothing really succesfull in terms of results. But some good years... Have been organizing a lot of racés (xc, dh ...) in DMK - among those the Fundays in 99 and 2000.

I had a lot of bikes. Among those I liked was Elridegrade Marin, Eason Ultralite, RM Blizzard, Trek OCLV 9900 Team issues (x3), gt sts termoplast, bullit, yeti dh9, yetidh9 mono, Firemountain, Intense m1, Haro DHS, DMR sidekick
