Probably a new bb standard, a new wheel size. 1 X 5 gearing. Solar powered gearing. Heads up display. Uber bike taxi tandems (outside London of course). Purple makes another comeback.
In all seriousness, a move to improve cycling safety would be better than any new marketing fad.

More and more motorbike MTB, (I mean e-bikes but once they derestricted them).
And everything targeted to these motor-e-bikes.
Hopefully plenty of new laws to cope with them properly.
(So that they can of course be ignored).
Hopefully someone will buy me one too.

Some E-bikes are getting interesting. A lot still look like chunky step-throughs, but there are some that are quite stylish:
At nearly £4,000, it's still seems very expensive when you can buy a brand new 125cc motorcycle for around £2,500. I know that's not the point, but it still makes an e-bike look like poor value, especially if, like me, you already have a full licence and are ancient enough for the insurance to be pretty cheap.
