Shimano Deore brake problem

I've got 2012 Simano Deore brakes (M596) on my do everything bike.

Over the last couple of weeks the lever travel on the back brake had increased a bit and last weekend the power dropped significantly and the brake started to squeal.
I took the pads out last night and they looked ok but while I was checking the piston movement in the caliper I think I may have pulled the lever too hard and had to push the inside piston back in which wasn't easy. Put the pads back in and now theres no movement in the pistons and the lever comes right back to the bar.

Will a bleed sort this out or is there something else going on in it now?

If there is no evidence of a leak, a bleed should sort it out.

Thanks. I can't see a leak anywhere, checked the hose all the way up to the lever last night.

Re:

As mentioned by "the Above" ;) , a bleed should sort them out.
Air probably got into the system when the piston popped out.
Make sure there's no leaks from the piston seal, it's possible to nick the seal when pushing the piston back into place.
