Bar diameter

I think it was easton who brought the first 35mm stem/bar out, aimed at gravity racing. Now with most dh bikes being made in carbon, manufacturers can make the stem and bars stiffer and lighter using 35mm carbon. I dont think it is a fad, and it serves a specific purpose. Wether it will replace current sizes, probably, companies like to sell you new things
