Getting one for Christmas. What can you recommend as a simple editing tool on an up to date Windows laptop? Nothing special here re graphics processing just a normal machine.

Gopro offer a free download. Any use? Picked up a used gopro with wifi back on fleabay for not much. Ordered a dog mount, :p bar mount and tripod mount.

I just use the standard gopro software. It's not bad.
And "normal machine" can cover a huge range.
I think there is a minimum spec on the gopro home page.

FWIW I use an I3-3 and a bit ghz with 8Gb RAM hooked up to an SSD.

Thanks you for your reply. The last line was a little testing. I shall have a look under the laptop and see what cc it is when I get home.

That'll do nicely.

Ours is noticeably less powerful than that and runs the free gopro software with no difficulties. There are probably better pieces of software out there, but i bet they aren't free.

Thanks for that. Have downloaded GoPro studio in anticipation.

It comes with a wifi back so will download the app onto my iPhone to preview the image. Also has the little wifi remote thing.
