hi all picked up a set of z1s which are in need of a refurb
are there any guides on here to stripdown and service?
so where can I get the service parts from?

I think these are pretty straightforward to rebuild but one bit of advice I had that might help is don't be afraid to give it a bit of welly to get the old seals out.

ok cheers guys

I'm sure it's straight forward but its good to know how's it's suppose to go together!

in short what needs servicing?

just the seals and oil change?

Check the bushes too I'd say. I remember the foot nuts, the ones at the bottom of the legs, being a pain as well, to get off and back on. I think I used a long cooking chopstick to hold it in place while I tightened it. It just needs to be on, not done up really tight as I think it's easy to break it. Go slow, you'll be fine.

All that tech is in the manual above.
Oil weight can be changed for a lighter or heavier to slightly change the characteristics,
Might be 10 or 15wt.

As to service theyre about the easiest of them all.
If you get stuck or are unsure of how to proceed, drop me a line.
