When my headshok is locked out, there is about 2 mm of movement so when riding its making a knocking noise.

Similarly when unlocked, it happens only when the fork is fully extended when unweighted.
, so much less noticeable.

It seems that a rubber bump stop is missing or worn or the priblem could be fixd by fitting a rubber bump stop.

Anyone got any advice or experience with these?

Re:

Hi seems to be a lack of people with decent knowledge on these i jad a similar problem couldnt get a reasonable quote or straight answer about repairing it so ended up replacing it with normal suspension forks in the end.

Indeed. Well i took it apart and i reckon something not right inside the damper.

Googling seems to confirm this, a blown seal. A workaround is to use heavier weight oil
unfortunately i had refitted it by then

Re:

Problem is heavier oil will only be a temporary fix if a seals gone how long will it be in there.

There are a few on ebay that claim to be in good working order at the minute but never any guarantees
