Mavic Crossride - 15mm to 9mm conversion

I have a set of Crossrides, but the front wheel is currently set up for 15mm axle. I know there are 9mm conversion kits available, but have read elsewhere that these kits are unsuitable for Crossrides! Anyone know if this is true?

Also, I am guessing I need to stick to the Mavic kits for Mavic hubs, and that other manufacturer kits wouldn't work?

I would think you could use any conversion kit, why would one manufacturers 15mm be different from another?
As an aside,I'm using a mavic kit on a giant/dtswiss hub, works perfectly!

I know what you mean, and I thought at first that any kit would do, but then wondered if they would have different shaped flanges etc to match their different hub designs. Never had to worry about this before so going in to it blind and considering all eventualities!
