quick query about cable and hose guides please...

Ok I need some advice.

My Kona Pahoehoe has both canti and disc mounts but for now I want to run vees.

But the guide on the top tube is for a hose so I need a sleeve to fit the cable in for the v brake.

Is this what I need? Help much appreciated

You could always just run full length outers...

Look korrect, hose guides tend to be a bit over 5 mm to include the clip, cable brake outer is 5 mm so those adapters are pretty thin.

Despite the advantage of full runs, i dont like them.

Those cable stopper things look pretty neat actually, I was going to say "just run a full length brake outer cable from lever to brake" as that's what I'd normally do, but it might be worth giving those stoppers a go if you ask me.

Full length cable had not crossed my mind, so that is a definite option.

I found some of those guides for pennies on ebay so nothing lost trying them. They also do ones that are split too but only on sale in the Usa.
