Whilst searching eBay for bushings for my Ghost ASX4900 suspension bike I came across this bike for sale...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261776261590? ... EBIDX%3AIT

Looks familiar I thought.... :?

And yep, the seller is using images of MY bike I posted on here!
http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... p;t=269527

The cheek! Not even pictures of the bike he's selling...

I'm going to message the eBay member and ask him why he's using the pictures. Is there any way to report this to eBay? as thier "Help & Contact" section keeps taking me round in circles

When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.
Re:

I think if you hit 'report this item' (right hand side) somewhere in the drop down menu you can report it as having used your images. I think. It's a right game and there just never seems to be exactly what you want to report them for!!

This has cropped up a few times. :x

Makes you wonder what the seller is on if they are using 'stolen' photos. Certainly not trustworthy.

Report to ebay I say.

I know, how hard it it to take a few pics of the actual bike you're selling???!
Not to mention the poor buyer will receive a bike which isn't as it appears in the pics...

Re:

I had the same situation a month ago.
A guy sold "my" frameset with my pics and text.
I mailed him but no response.
Then i contacted Ebay and they removed the listing the same day.

Re:

I'll be passing through Clevedon on Wednesday; would you like me to pop in and give him a slap? ;)

For the record, I'm joking!!!

Re:

Had a very apologetic message from the seller, said he would remove the pics ASAP. I still see them on the Listing though.....

Re:

Just hit 'report', he's still in the wrong and he should suffer the consequences. Why do it at all...? Lazy sod couldn't even be bothered to get his own camera out!!
