i need to get a set of pedals that are quite light an grippy
but not something thats going to break quick
or be a throw away pair after 2years of use

im not really wanting another set of wellgo

i dont really wana spend to much over £50

anyone know of any worth a look

Not a big dmr fan but they last forever. Grip doesn't compare to Superstar nano or nukeproof electrons. Electrons are lighter with tough resin body. Super grip. About £33 from chain reaction.

Superstar Nano's for me !
Had some electrons really good pedals lots of grip and very light but I just found my foot didn't sit comfortably on them due to the rise in the centre where the axle is, but that might just be personal. DMR's are to go for if you want a bombproof pedal but they don't have a large platform area and not lots of grip. The new V12's look promising but haven't really heard many review yet.

thanks guys hmmm
grip is a big factor in my choice

dmrs are good just a bit on the heavy side
im wanting to get metal 1s rather then resin or plastic,

ive looked at those 1s but i am still undecided at the moment :(

has anyone tried Fire Eye Grill pedals
there claimed to be sub 400grams
the 12 reviews are all praising them
but that doesnt mean much

gusset lol ive got 1 of there stickers on my laptop :)
never owned anything else buy them yet tho

hows the grip? a few people are saying on crc
the pins are too short  they look long enough
for xc in the pic :)

at 540g thats only a smidge under dmrs weight

i have got flat shoes but there heavy
so i sometimes wear asics trainers :(

I thought resin would be rubbish but they are rock solid. Had loads of pebble bashes on my old pair and no issues
