Bike insurance

Friend looking for advice re bike insurance.
Any recommodations regarding insurance companies who insure whilst the bike is locked up outside?

Yes: always read the small print and check for conditions that might be used to invalidate the policy, especially if the bikes are expensive, and document all the relevant details scrupulously. It's not about getting the lowest quote but the people who will actually pay if bad things happen. In fact, I'd just start with

..And if they do a suitable policy, I'd just take it rather than searching. These are the people the CTC have used for about 25 years. So they have a vested interest in keeping their reputation clean with cyclists.
