Looking for forks on a cheap build and coming across plenty of MZ bomber 'mx' and 'mz'.

Are these cheap and nasty or are they anything approaching the classic z1/z2?

I don't know anything about the early 2000's bombers....

Any help or words of warning appreciated.

Re:

The mx series (comp and pro - alu steerer, poss eta which locks the fork but still have 25mm travel) from 2000 to 2006 are good forks, like the early z1, z2, z3 and z4. Open oil bath either coil or air, easy to service. The mz are total crap, cheap nasty tawain forks. Heavy and unreliable.

Hope this helps
