I bought a frame from eBay last week and it was covered from head to toe in heli-tape which was past it's best and making the frame look pretty shabby.

I've removed all the tape and I'm now wondering what's the best thing to remove all the glue that's left behind since it's currently looking ten times worse than when it arrived!?

It worked on removing sticker residue on a frame I cleaned recently. I think they've changed the formula recently though, the stuff I bough the other day is really smelly; smells really strongly of petrol/diesel, I'm sure it didn't smell this strong the last time I bought some.

If you can find it, Comma Hyper Clean engine degreaser is a lot less smelly and seems to rinse off easier.

Lighter fuel....removes absolutely any kind of gummy glue residue...evaporates in seconds and cannot damage any kind paint or varnish
