Trek stp 400 bb size

Hi

I've been slowly building a lovely trek stp 400 soft tail, buying 90% of the parts from the good members of retro bike, it's very close to being complete but I've hit a road block with bottom bracket axel width, I need to know for a square taper, I've emailed trek and have no luck/reply, and there no info that I can find online.

Any help appreciated

Without knowing the crank you plan to fit, there's not enough information to answer your question.

The seller of the cranks might be able to help, otherwise it's a case of trial and error - somewhere in the region of 73x118mm or 122.5mm?

Hi, thanks for the advice, I think it will have to be the trial and error method, at least square taper bb are fairly cheap.
