I'm fitting new hoses to my brakes, XTR 960 calipers and Saint levers.
All is well but i need 4 x o-rings for the caliper ends on the hoses, anybody know where i can get some without having to buy a complete hose?

Hi,All decent motor factors and plumbers supplier's will have a box of assorted O rings,,just take the old one with you,,I normally pay about ten pence each..

That option worked on my Avids as they were standard 6mm.
These are the same diametre but a lot finer, they are proving a pain to get hold of

If only my LBS was that helpful
Talking to them about anything that wears tyres wider than 22mm is like talking to the wall!!!

a couple of listings on ebay but they include the hollow bolt - so cheaper than buying the complete hose but not as cheap as could be.

do you know what size they are? simplybearings sell o rings but I do not see any in the right size (I am guessding these are 6 mm i.d. and 0.5 mm thick- when i get a moment, I will measure them up.)

I've had a measure as best i can with my vernier as they are a bit bendy.
I reckon 6mm ID x 1mm wall(maybe 0.8mm).
I think 6mm x 1mm will do, a few on ebay but batches of 500

I've found batches of 10 in all ID's in 1/2mm increments but 1mm wall.
I've ordered 6.5 x 1 and 7 x 1, 6mm ID is definately too small.
Worth a punt at £1.19 for 10 :D
