I am putting this here as I think it will get more traffic than in the Road section.
Today I received a Trek USPS Carbon road frame. Have been after one for a while. However, I am a little disappointed that one of the decals on the forks has lifted.
The decals on these Trek OCLV frames are applied and then it appears that the laquer is sprayed over the top. This means that if I heat and remove the rest of the decal then it will leave a very definite edge where the laquer finishes (this is already present where the decal has come off)
So, the question is what to do? Is there a way I can get round the problem or is this going to be a complete strip and spray and if so how/where/£?
Suggestions peeps?
