Been running narrow flat bars and Tioga stubby bar ends for a while now. It's a 58cm cx inspired SS bike fit for commuting. Tempted to go to drops even though I'm a drop phobe and like a tall set up. Currently got a 90mm MTB stem. From original 110. Both seem to work.
It's a pricey swap over though. I've decided I want compact bars like FSA Omega as wide as they get (44, 42 on tops)

But then you need 31.8 stem to to with it.
I have a 70mm Thomson, waiting for a build but its a bit posh for parking in the bike shed, plus arguably a bit short for compact drop bars?
So Planet X 17degree for drop rise. 90mm stem middle reach. sound ideal?
And lever and grip tape needed then!
tektro Rl340 to stop with.
Adds up doesn't it?!
Good set up idea?
