As in title, I need to replace my 10 speed granny ring and have a nearly new 9 speed Middleburn in my spares bin.
Will it work or should I splash the cash?

Offer it up to the chain and see if the teeth fit in the gaps ok. If they do then I'd give it ago before buying a new one.
