Wondered if anyone had any experience of the early (2002ish) Ellsworth Jokers?
Just bought a 2002 one on ebay (though I thought I was buying a 2006 frame - which is why I am asking the question) and I have read a few reviews of the older frames on mtbr. There a few comments about these things cracking, albeit it seems when ridden off 20 foot drops by 200lb angry men.
The frame seems very tidy and there are no obvious signs of damage. Just wondered if anyone had any real world experience of these frames - it looks solid to me and as if you'd have to do something well beyond my nerve to crack it.
Any comments appreciated.
