I picked this up from the machine shop the other day:

Should be quite obvious what it is but 2 geek points is you can figure out what I got the machine shop to do

Nope, I think I might have done that mod myself, although the mating surfaces are all unmarked

Looks like a rear hub axle. My guess is you asked the machine shop to cut some female threads in it to run it with bolts.

You got them to block up the front hole and drill a big hole in the top.......

So you can smoke your weed in it ????

Along the right lines but it's a for a front hub

Im confused, the xc was a 9mm qr hub anyway? Nice rads on it I guess. Cost much?
