Pick one.

BUT WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T USE YODEL!!!.

They might be the cheapest, but from personal experience I've found that there's a very good reason for it (like running over my bike with a forklift, then taping the box back up in the hope I wouldn't notice, or losing a bike frame for a few weeks only to find it in a depot at the other end of the country). I will never use the bunch of talentless f**kwits ever again, and I will encourage everyone to do the same.

Senditnow are a sideline of ParcelForce, and I've always received a good service from them. They cost a couple of quid more but I think it's worth it.

Failing that, I've always been satisfied with City Link, TNT and UPS too and you can get all these options from either Parcel2Go or ParcelMonkey.

I've been happy with ipostparcels (UK MAIL) cheap, tracked 24 hour door to door service and you can normally find discount codes on hukd etc.... I live in the middle of the countryside and work from home, So I needed a cost effective courier service and so far they've been reliable

Yodel and parcel2go are both shit and let me down in a massive massive way. Paisley freight are really good so far 4 perfect bike delivers and only £21.50 for a boxed bike regardless of weight and dims I can't fault them. Parcel force and parcel monkey have also been great but cost a little more.

Paisley freight fan here. But note small print... Don't think your bike is insured during carriage?

I know everyone slags off Yodel, so they must obviously be crap on a regular basis but I guess I should put in a good word. I've been lucky enough (touching wood, no not that kind of wood you smutty git) to have had great service from them on a regular basis. I guess a lot of it is down to individual drivers but around 50% of the time the 48 hour service I paid for arrives next day. The one issue I had was a package that sat at the Midlands hub for a couple of days but it still arrived undamaged.
Like I said, not defending them but just saying they can be good.
