Hi all,

I'm about to sell my Middleburn chainset but, I can't remember if its an RS7 or RS8 :oops: How do I tell :?:

It's silver, 4 arm spider, square taper, 175mm with 44, 32, 22 slick-shift rings. Purchased new by me 2005.

Sorry, no pics as the wife is away at the mo' & taken the camera :roll:

RS7s are rated for DH use and weigh about 40gms more, as far as I know. I can photograph my RS7s tomorrow if that's any use to you.

Rs8 have the rear of the crank arm machined out a little to save weight.

Easy..... Middleburn logo on the RS7 is solid thick text, on the RS8 it's only the outline of the text engraved like this:

Thanks guys. Looks like I've got the RS8's. Just had them on the scales & they come in at 636 grams with rings & bolts 8) .
