Curious to know how i change a cable on these shifters, Ive twisted pulled and I think the next step maybe to break it so I should stop and ask for help.

Shifter looks like this

Try undoing the little screws. Should remove a cover plate that let's you see the loop of cable and wrings. Fairly simple from that point with mine.
