Why is the quick release lever at he inside :?: All of the pics i've seen show the lever at the outside :roll:

I think it just need turning around.

Yup, they slide onto the Evo mounting, Take off and turn around/upside-down and reinstall.

Yup, it's on 180 degrees out. undo top bolt, slide off, flip it round, and replace.

Id also be putting some washers on the hex bolts on the brace, looks like they are close to being pulled through

The bolt on the left is correct , the idea is just the when you undo the side with the QR on that piston and the booster come away from the bike leaving just the left piston mounted to the bike .

Just moved the lever at the outside, but it don't tight anything: is it missing something in the black body of the lever :?:

You need a special hourglass canti stud, I may have one spare, or check out tartybike for magura bits.

The quick release side needs the correct stud, its one of these

Seems most likely explanation, esp if bought from someone who removed them from a frame and didn't spot the wee bit screwed into the stud.
Do you have the plates that fit onto the canti-stud behind the units?
