just ride it!!! when we were kids, we would ride and jump on frames....................
you know the rest!!
oh, and put a plaster on it, used to work for us!!!

I'd ride it too. Provided you're not jumping or doing any rad DH it's not going to kill you if/when it fails there.

Steel frame - no worries. Strip back the paint if worried to check for cracks, but if the frame is still true I'd carry on riding.
