Hope are ACE!

Very happy Hope customer here.

I somehow managed to snap the axle tube in my rear Pro 2 hub the other week. Had the wheels a few years so not too upset, wear + tear and all that.

I live quite close to the Hope factory so thought I'd give them a call after hearing good things about customer service on various forums. Chap said I was welcome to call in and they'd have a look so I stuck the wheel and the dog in my car and headed to Barlic.
Met a friendly bloke at the factory who took the wheel and asked if I could wait 10 mins or so. I took the dog for a walk and came back a while later and was presented with a fixed wheel. Bloke not only replaced the axel but changed the pawls and springs as he said they were looking a bit worn. All done for free!

Thank's Hope, you'll be selling me lots more equipment in the future.

Great news! there is Hope for us all

They are lovely folks. I had a Pro II hub with a problem, had a bit of an e-mail "chat" with a tech bod and between us we couldn't work out what it was. We agreed it was easiest to send it back. Within about four days, it was back with me, fixed and with a brand new freehub body fitted as the old one was "a bit worn". All with no charge. All my better bikes have run Hope hubs since around 1996 and I use their headsets too; this is part of the reason why.

My g/f has a set of XC wheels. After years of hard use the read began creaking. We tried everything to isolate the issue. Twice, she took it to Stif, who were great, but couldn't find the fault. Then, at Sleepless, she chatted to Hope who said she should send it in. A few days later, it was returned,fully fixed. There was a problem with the freehub ratchet being cracked.

I love dealing with them and have never had any hassle with them.

Superb company.

I asked if they had any pawl springs at the Hope stand at last years Mayhem....they gave me a full set of pawls and springs for free.

Hope hubs and headsets are a standard on all my modern bikes, for all the reasons above. Brilliant products with brilliant service to back it up.
