Started stripping my old 1999 Claud Butler Carabo for road use. My Giant STP2 is useless as a road bike with the tyres and gearing i have. Stripped it to a bare frame and its had some hard use over the years. Really need to know how can i get the ally frame looking good again??
Do you use something like nitromors to strip the bike back to bare metal, then use something like 1200 wet and dry followed by a few coats of clear to protect it??
