So im trying to build a nice Giant ATX DH Team up that I want original parts on the bike, thing is I have 3 Rockshox Pro Deluxe shocks now and all of them are leaked all there oil (one of them I didn't even put on the bike and it leaked)

It seems all you have to do is look as these shocks and the p!$$ out with oil.

Is there a fix for these shocks at all ? I doubt even TF will have parts for these shocks or service them these days.

Anyone else had the same issues ?

Stendec should be able to service it. They gave me a quote for my Super Deluxe a few weeks ago.

However, for the price you'll pay for the service you'll be better off finding a decent condition used Fox shock which fits your frame.. It'll more than likely give you less trouble in the long run!

Yeah fair call, I just want an original bike thou, and the shock size is odd with no room for movement, 8.5x2.75

Can you not squeeze a 8.75 x 2.75 shock in there?.. There are loads of them about!

I actually have a fox rc 8.75x2.5 and yeah it won't fit there is no upper movement, I have heard that some people drilled a hole in the frame below the one thats already there but there is no chance Im doing that, I want it as original as possible.

Ah the joy of silly sized rear shocks. I'm stuck with an odd size on my SX; only Cane Creek make the right size these days and that'd cost more than my frame is worth.

I think you'll have to try and find a second hand shock. eBay USA may be a good bet if you can find someone who will ship internationally.

There was a modern Rockshox Rear shock for sale on Pinkbike the other day which was 8.5 x 2.75 but it was brand new and had a price tag to match!
