I think the new Treks are quite long, so I'd go for the smaller size.

Certainly the Fuels are designed to be long and low.

Thanks again for the info and advice. I'm not a fan of "sit up and beg" style riding...that's why I liked the Trek EX9 or EX8. Hopefully I'll add a used 18.5 incher to the stable later in the year.

I'll have to now sell one or two of my bikes to fund it!
