Problems with Charge Chopstick seatpost.

I bought a Charge Chopstick seatpost in 31.6mm it rattles around in the frame despite the diameter being correct.
Upon measuring the seatpost with vernier calipers it is 31.5mm I checked the calipers on several know size ball bearings and steerer tubes etc.
I'm wondering if I return it and get a replacement will it be the same?
Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks.

If it ain't the right size, send it back otherwise it'll damage your frame. I had a prob. with a RooX and an X-Lite shim. In both cases, errors were denied but careful measuring proved the case.
Good luck.

I've just sent them an email. I'll return it, just wondering if they are all like it and to buy another make.

:)

It depends on how it's made. Likely to be the whole batch, or at least one end of the batch run if it's an extruded tube.

Judging by the lines running the length of it, it's extruded!
They seem fine about returning it, so I'll get something else I I think.

Thanks :)

Got 2 of these and they are great seat posts. Must be a one off as have heard good things about them.

Are the sizes accurate do you know?
Mine has slightly patchy anodising and a extrusion line down it!

Will measure mine, both fit really well.
Also anodising looks fine... you got the bloke on his last day made yours
