got some xtr m952 f/r mech off a frame ive got and the normal colour has gone weird looks
like some cleaning product has moved the colour but the xtr logo hasnt gone ?

anyone seen this before

At first glance id say the finish is stripped off :? as to the logo,is it laser etched,because they could have carefully worked around that.
Does it look like someone has had a go at polishing it ? try yourself with a little brasso or autosol[if you have either] ,pick an area thats discoloured but out of the way and see itf it polishes up :? if it was previously polished then youll get there really quickly and it will be obvious :?

Pictures are pants by the way.Any others in natural light[bit late now lol]

500 sandpaper then polish

lol sod polishing it think ill jus ship it out anyone want a front and rear mech prime for polishing

Is that the one off the frame I picked up for you?

If it is, I reckon it was some firm of cleaning product because its blotchy.

Have you managed to get that bike up and running yet?
