Cree lights

We have four of these; two for me and two for my son.

I use one of mine on my road bike and the other on my mtb's. My son has one on an mtb and the other on his cx bike.

When we want a real blast in the woods, we fit two lights to one bike, which is also the plan for Mayhem this year.

Pretty much the same light for a lot less , ok 400 lm less but still scarily bright

It wont be 400 lumens less (or even 600 ;) ) as niether light is generates the claimed 1200 or 1800 lumens. An XML-T6 can only generate around 1000 lumens flat out and in most cases they arent run flat out as the efficiency suffers. Both lights will probably be around 800 generated lumens.

1800 lumen light from the above link, I took these tonight out on a ride...

Quite franky, I'm not into lights enough to be bothered by the technicalities, they're cheap and work well and it's more than bright enough for me. The battery chargers still haven't burnt the house down either ;)
