no idea, prob just cause you can- another excuse for another bike, does there have to be a reason?

In the northern states of America where they originate they allow a rider to extend his season through the winter.

Over here, if you live near the coast they open up a whole new world of terrain and type of riding. Beaches, dunes, sandy trails and rock crawling, all of which can be extremely difficult on normal width tyres, are now fair game on a fat bike. 8)

My fatbike takes me places I would never of imagined......and it's took over 95% of my riding!

There not for everybody so I won't try and twist your arm......just read up and look at pics and watch vids if your curious.
